Nicolas Cage Owes IRS $6.6 Million---The film star, Nicolas Cage, 48 year old owes IRS $6.6 million in income taxes.
Cage’s Las Vegas home went into foreclosure in December 2009 following the announcement of his income taxes.
A federal tax lien notice, dated July 2, shows that Cage owes more than $6.6 million or $70,190 on his 2002 taxes, $179,738 for 2003, $110,617 for 2004 and a whopping $6,257,005 for 2007.
Some 98,000 federal workers owed $1.03 billion in unpaid taxes at the end of the 2010 fiscal year.
Cage has been ordered by the District Court in Clark County, Nevada to pay $2,511,605.74 to Nevada State Bank in costs relating to his foreclosed property in Nevada.
Cage will incur a rate of 5.5% on the judgment until it's paid off.
Cage is just one of a long list of celebrities with financial problems.
