The anniversary of Marilyn Monroe

Hollywood sex symbol Marilyn Monroe today would have turned 85 years old.Legendary actress Marilyn Monroe is not with us for nearly half a century. Monroe lived a short, but amazingly rich life full of triumphs and bitter disappointments.Norma Jean Baker was married in 1942, when she was only 18 years old. This allowed the girl to quit school and move into the house to her husband. Soon she began working at an aircraft factory, and then successfully tried in a role model. In 1948 came the first significant film starring Monroe "Ladies of the Chorus", and two years later in her life came a fateful man - a young politician, John Kennedy, who became president of the United States. They both expect many years of secret relations and terrible death. Monroe died at his home from an overdose of sleeping pills (officially) in 1962, a year later, Kennedy shot a maniac loner Lee Harvey Oswald (again according to the official version).
In life, Marilyn had three marriages and a lot of abortions. She never had a baby and did not receive a single Oscar. But her fame and sex appeal have made Monroe the embodiment of femininity for generations of men.
